“Before Hoshi Ramen, I was in a drought. Things weren't looking good on the horizon. On this day, where I was at my wits end, a star arose in the north. It was a sign. The sign of Hoshi Ramen. I walked in was greeted by the nicest people and had food in my face within 5 minutes. Life is simpler now. When I need to relax I come here. Ramen is straight fire, Bao is straight fire and the Don dishes spit straight fire. 10/10 will reach enlightenment here.”

“So I have been coming here consistently once a week for a little over a year now. The atmosphere, the personable staff and very flavorful food has always left me satisfied, and excited for my visit next week. I highly recommend having a bowl of Tantanmen, with a few extra soft boiled eggs.”

“What a treasure! Great food, stylish atmosphere, attentive but not pushy service and good covid protocol. Fresh fresh fresh. The texture of the noodles was divine. Highly recommend.”

Excellent food, the eggs were creamy, the broth was good, the noodles firm, but the chashu was the star of the show here. While it may not be round it was soft and tasty and melted in my mouth. The restaurant around it is simplistic and minimalist in its design, keeping focus on the food where it belongs.

“I come here for their bao buns. Their ramen is an added bonus.”

“It was our first time out to eat as a family in months, and it was quiet and peaceful. Our server (Juliana, I think) was patient and attentive whole we figured out what all our boys wanted and then even brought the mochi we ordered out cut into pieces so we could share. I had the Japanese fried chicken and it was so crunchy and flavorful. I loved it. Next time I am getting the shoyu ramen after tasting some of another's bowl. The stock was amazing. My husband, who loves loves loves vegetarian food and ramen, was so happy with his father's day bowl of the veggie ramen! We will be back ♥️”

“First time I went, Neon Genesis Evangelion was playing, so the food was an afterthought. But then the food came, and Shinji's problems became an after thought.”

“At first, I thought it was a bit pricey, but you get a good amount of food with the main dishes. So it really was worth it! We tried the fried tofu...I liked it, my daughter loved it! Then the bao...OMG! Not exactly traditional, but we absolutely LOVED the Karaage bao! Delicious! The Chashu bao was also tasty, but I recommend the prior! We also had the Tantanmen Ramen...delicious! And the Miso Ramen...good, but just not MY thing. Tried the Chashu Chahan (pork fried rice)...it was REALLY good! And lastly, we had some kimchi on the side...real tasty, but not a lot of heat, which is fine! Overall, had a nice time! Waiter was great! Food was delicious and hot! Will definitely go back!!”
